About me

Hi! I’m Aida and welcome to my blog.

I’m a 20-something content marketer-slash-digital nomad who got reaaaaally into self-development during my quarter-life crisis.

I was terribly unhappy with just about every aspect of my life during this time. And after a string of dating disappointments, I asked myself a question that changed my life: “Why am I the way I am?”

What is it about me that attracts certain people and situations into my life? Why do I keep settling? Why do I say “yes” when I actually want to say “no”?

As I went about answering these questions, I dug up a myriad of subconscious patterns that had been ruling my life up until that point.

Once I loosened their grip on my thoughts and behaviors, my whole life changed – because I also changed.

I stopped being the version of myself that had been so unhappy.

I started A Glass Box of Emotion to share my thoughts on relationships, mindset, and emotional wellbeing from this new stage of my life. A stage of empowerment and confidence, thanks to all the lessons I learned from my past.

And I’m glad you’ve come along for the ride! Because if you’re reading this, you’re probably going through something similar in your life.

I want to let you know that all the discomfort and frustration you’re experiencing right now will be so worth it in the end. There’s no better journey than the one where you discover who you are and take charge of your own happiness.

Keep in mind that I’m not a mental health professional. The information on this blog is just my views and opinions from my own experience and research. You can find out more by reading my full disclaimer.

In any case, I don’t pretend to have all the answers – I’m still very much a work in progress. I hope you enjoy reading my blog and feel free to follow me on Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, or Pinterest.
